Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. It focuses on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing them with more balanced, effective ones with the goal of changing emotions and actions. Clients learn practical tools, and are often given homework between sessions, which helps to reinforce learning and facilitate change.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of evidence-based exposure therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing memories. While often trauma-focused, EMDR is suitable for many other purposes where progress is being blocked by negative beliefs. When used to reprocess trauma, this treatment is most effective with complex trauma (PTSD caused by multiple traumatic events). Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, clients revisit traumatic or distressing experiences in a safe, structured way that reduces emotional intensity and somatic symptoms and supports long-term healing.

Prolonged Exposure

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) is a structured, evidence-based treatment for trauma and PTSD. This treatment is most effective with single-incident trauma (when PTSD stems from a single traumatic event). It helps clients gradually face trauma-related memories, feelings, and physical situations they’ve been avoiding. This process significantly reduces and/or eliminates fear and distress over 12-14 sessions, allowing clients to regain a sense of control and safety in their daily lives. The duration of each session is 60-90 minutes, 1 to 2 times per week.

Cognitive Processing Therapy

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma-related symptoms. It helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to the trauma. Structured sessions focus on understanding how the trauma affects thoughts and learning new ways to think that support healing and recovery. The duration of each session is 60-90 minutes, once weekly for approximately 12 weeks.

Love Yourself

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based approach that helps clients accept difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with their values. Clients work towards building psychological flexibility, developing self-compassion, and taking meaningful steps toward living a more fulfilling life.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based approach that combines acceptance and change strategies to help clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships. Clients learn practical skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to create a more balanced and fulfilling life. DBT uses a present and future-oriented approach.
