I (she/her) am a clinical researcher and a trauma therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and anxiety-related disorders. My approach to therapy is collaborative, neuroscience-informed, and culturally responsive. It is grounded in social work values of social justice, dignity, and worth of the person. I offer evidence-based neuroscience-informed interventions and culturally attuned care that promotes nervous system regulation, and provides practical tools aligned with your growth goals.
My clinical style is best suited for individuals who prefer direct communication with solutions-focused treatment, and actionable steps that lead to measurable progress. I am a Certified Prolonged Exposure Therapist and Consultant, EMDR Certified Therapist, advanced DBT Therapist. These specialties allow me to help clients build insight, regulate emotions, develop healthier relationships, and address trauma in ways that feel manageable and empowering.
As a clinical researcher, my work focuses on implementation barriers to neuroscience integration in psychotherapy. This works informs how I design my professional development programs for clinicians and how I adapt clinical research to clinical application within the therapeutic space.
My clinical work and research are deeply informed by my own lived experience as a person with complex trauma, late-diagnosed Autism, and late-diagnosed ADHD. I understand firsthand the importance of accessible, affirming, and practical support—especially for those who have felt misunderstood or overlooked in traditional care settings.
In addition to therapy, I hold an Advanced Clinical Supervisor (ACS) certification and offer clinical supervision to mental health professionals, including specialized supervision for those pursuing certification in Prolonged Exposure Therapy. My supervision style is supportive, and collaborative, with an emphasis on clinical integrity, professional growth, and anti-oppressive practice.
I received my Master in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. I am currently working towards a Certificate in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania (expected 2027), and I am working towards a Doctor of Health Science degree from Purdue University Global (expected 2028).
